Constructivist Color

Inspired by the works of modernist painters like Wassily Kandinsky, Alexander Rodchenko, and Piet Mondrian, in 1980 I applied my photographic skills to produce a series of abstract constructed “landscapes.” Recognition came from solo and group exhibitions and a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship grant in 1981. Here is a selection from that series.
